The wedding chupa is situated just beneath the doves. It is held up with poles entwined with pomagranates vines that are a Hebrew symbol of Love.

The tambourines above the city scene represent worship; the commandments of God are represented by the tablets. The bread (challah) and wine between the tablets represent the covenant.
